SCSisdesignedtoassistthedriverincontrolofdriving
direction.TheSCSautomaticallyentersStandbymode
aftertheengineisstarted.
WhenSCSdetectsthatthevehicleisnotmovinginthe
intendeddirection,itwillintervenebyapplyingbrakeforce
toselectedwheelsorthroughtheenginemanagement
systemtopreventslidingandassistinbringingthecarback
totherightdirection.
T ractionControlSystem(TCS)
TCSaimstomaintainthecontroltothevehicleby
improvingthevehicle'stractiontrafcabilityanddriving
stability.TCSmonitorsthedrivingspeedofeachwheel
individually.Ifspinisdetectedononewheel,thesystem
automaticallybrakesthatwheel,transferringtorquetothe
opposite,non-spinningwheel.Ifbothwheelsarespinning,
thesystemwillreduceenginespeedinordertoregulate
wheelrotationuntiltractionisregained.
SwitchingOn/Off
SCSandTCSareautomaticallyswitchedonwhenthe
ignitionswitchplacedinpositionON.Y oucanswitchthem
offaftertheengineisstarted.
BrieypresstheSCSswitch(lessthan2seconds),TCS
isdisabled,and"T ractionControlOff"andTCSiconwill
appearinthemessagecentre.
PressSCSswitch(longerthan2seconds),TCSand
SCSarebothdisabled."T ractionControlOff"andTCS
