•Switchontheignition,pressthebrakepedal,andpress
theEPBswitch.
•IftheindicatorintheEPBswitchandtheindicatorin
theinstrumentpack
areextinguished,theEPBis
released.
StartingAid
TheEPBcanpredictthedriver'sintentionand
automaticallyreleasetheEPB.
Ifthedriver'sseatbeltisfastened,theengineisstarted
up,DorRgearisselectedandtheacceleratorpedalis
depressedforstartoff,theEPBwillautomaticallyrelease.
EmergencyBrakingFunction
InappropriateuseoftheEPBcanleadto
accidentsandinjuries.DonotapplytheEPB
forvehiclebraking,unlessinemergency.
DuringemergencybrakingusingtheEPB,DO
NOTswitchofftheignition,thiscouldresult
inseriousinjury.
Whenthecarisinmotion,incaseofanyemergency,such
asthecarcannotbestoppedbythebrakepedal,itcanbe
deceleratedbypullingupandholdingEPBswitch.
•PulltheEPBswitchupwardandholdtorealizethe
emergencybraking.Continuousacousticalarmwill
soundsimultaneouslyduringemergencybrake.
•T ocanceltheemergencybrakingprocess,releasethe
EPBswitch.
