T argetCruiseSpeedAdjustment
Whenthecruisecontrolisactive:
Pushtheleverupwards(1)andhold,releasethelever
switchwhenthetargetspeedisreached,thiswillincrease
thespeed.
Pushtheleverdownwards(2)andhold,releasethelever
switchwhenthetargetspeedisreached,thiswilldecrease
thespeed.
Inaddition,thesetspeedcanbegraduallyincreasedor
decreasedbyturningtheleverandimmediatelyreleasing;
turningupward(1)willincreasethespeed,whileturning
downward(2)willdecreasethespeed.T urningthelever
oncewillincreaseordecreasethespeedappr.1mph.
Whenthecruisecontrolsystemisinoperation,thevehicle
stillcanbeacceleratedbypressingtheacceleratorpedal
(suchasovertaking).Releasingtheacceleratorpedalwill
returnthevehicletothesettargetspeed.
Pause
Whenthecruisecontrolsystemisactivated,thefollowing
operationswillbringthesystemtoStandbystate:
•Leverswitchmovedto'Cancel'position(3).
•Brakepedalpressed.
•AutogearlevermovedtoP ,RorN.
•Thepoorroadconditionbringsthestabilitycontrol
system(SCS)intooperation.Forsafetyreasons,the
cruisecontrolsystemwillautomaticallyexittoStandby
state.
•Whentheabrupthillresultsintheexcessivedecreaseof
thespeed,thecruisecontrolsystemshallautomatically
exittoStandbystate.
•Electronicparkingbrake(EPB)isoperatedinan
abnormalmanner.
