Thekeylessstartignitionswitchislocatedontheright
instrumentpanelonthesteeringcolumnandbelongsto
push-buttonstart.
Note:Tooperatethesystem,theremotekeymust
beinthecar.T oleavetheparkinggear,theignition
switchmustbeinON/RUN/STARTposition,andthe
brakepedalmustbedepressed.
EachdisplaystateofSTARTSTOPbuttonisdescribedas
follows:
IndicatorOff(OFF)
•Theengineisshutoffinthisposition.
YellowLight(ACC)
•Electricalaccessoriessuchaspowerwindows,electric
rearviewmirrors,etc.areallowedtooperateinthis
position.
•WiththeignitionswitchinpositionOFFandthebrake
pedalnotpressed,pressingthisbuttononcewillallow
theignitionswitchtoenterACCstate.
GreenLight(ON/RUN/START)
•Whenthevehicleisstarted,theengineruns.
•Whentheengineisstarted,allelectricalequipmentare
operational.
•WhentheST ARTSTOPbuttonilluminatesyellow,ifthe
brakepedalisnotdepressed,presstheSTARTSTOP
buttonagain,theenginewillnotstart,butthegreenlight
illuminates,allelectricalequipmentareoperational.
Note:AfterturningtheignitionswitchtopositionOFF
andopeningthedoor,ifthekeyisstillleftinthe
