DONOTdrivewhenthebonnetisopenor
retainedonlybythesafetycatch.

1Pullthebonnetreleasehandle(A)fromtheinside
ofthecar.
2Pushthelever(B)mountedonthebonnetinthe
arrowdirectiontoreleasethebonnetsafetycatch.
3Raisethebonnetandholditupwiththesupportrod
rmly.
ClosingtheBonnet
Supportthebonnetbyonehand,releasethesupportrod
usingtheotherhand,andplaceitrmlyintothesupport
rodbase.Thenholdthebonnetusingbothhandsand
lowerit,allowingittodropforthelast20～30cmtofully
closethebonnet.
Byattemptingtoliftthefrontedgeofthebonnet,checkif
thelockisfullyengagedafterclosingthebonnet.Ifitisnot
fullyengaged,youmustrepeattheoperation.
BonnetOpenAlarm
Ifthebonnetisnotfullyengaged,whentheignitionswitchis
inON/RUN/STARTposition,thecorrespondingalarmicon
(referto"MessageCentre"in"InstrumentsandControls"
chapter)willbedisplayedinthemessagecentre,andthe
