WhentheASLsystemisinStandbymodeoris
activated,ifthetargetspeedisset,theindicatorilluminates
anddisplaysthetargetspeedvalue.“NNN”isthetarget
speedvalue.
WiththeASLsystemoperating,ifthecurrentvehiclespeed
exceedsthetargetspeed,theindicatorashes,thesystem
willslowdownunderthetargetspeed.TheASLisbraked
solelybytheengine,soitcannotbeusedasasubstituteof
thebrake.Wherefastbrakingisnecessary(e.g.atabrupt
hill),pressthebrake.
LowOilPressureWarning-Red
WiththeignitionswitchinpositionON,
thislampilluminatestoconductasystemself-checkand
extinguishesafterthevehicleisstarted.Ifthislamp
remainsonafterstartingthevehicleorilluminatesduring
driving,itindicatesthattheoilpressureistoolow,which
mayresultinsevereenginedamage.Stopthevehicleas
soonassafetypermitsandSWITCHOFFTHEENGINE

drivingaccompaniedwithanaudiblewarning.Pleaseseek
anMGAuthorisedRepairerurgently.
Incaseoflowbattery,intheinstrumentpackwithmono
display,theindicatorasheswithanaudiblealarm;inthis
case,thesystemwilllimitorturnoffsomeelectrical
devices.Pleasestartthevehicletochargethebattery.
