slippingunderthelapbelt.Ifyouslipunderthelapbelt,the
beltwillapplyforceonyourabdomen,whichmaycause
seriousorfatalinjuries.Thediagonalsectionofthebelt
shouldcrossthemiddleoftheshoulderandthechest.In
theeventofemergencybrakingorcollision,thediagonal
sectionofthebeltwillbelocked.Nevercrossyourneck,
arms,orcrossunderyourarmsorbehindyourback.
T oensurethattheseatbeltsalwaysprovidemaximum
protection,ensurethebeltisat,notlooseandcontacts
thebody.Adjustseatbelttoensureitisnotloose.
UpperAnchorageHeightAdjustment
Duringdriving,DONotadjusttheheightof
seatbelt.
Makesuretheseatbeltupperanchorpoint
hasbeenadjustedtoproperheightandlocked
inplace,orinjuryevendeathmaybecaused
intheeventofcollisionaccidents.
Thedriverandfrontpassengerseatsareequippedwith
seatbeltupperanchorpointadjusters.Adjusttheheight
sothattheshoulderbeltoftheseatbeltcrossesjustthe
middleoftheshoulder.Theseatbeltshouldbepositioned
awayfromtheneckandheadandinamannerwherethe
occupantcannotslideunderthebelt.Incorrectpositioning
willreducetheefciencyoftheseatbeltintheeventofa
collisionoremergencybraking.
Pleasefollowtheinstructionsbelowtousetheseatbelt
upperanchorpointcorrectly.
