•Ifyoutrytostartconsecutivelyfor3timesand
it’sfailed,pleaseaskforhelp.Ifyoutrytostart
consecutively,youmustwaitforatleast10minutes
tomakesuretheenginehascooledandthebattery
hasrestored.Otherwiseitwilldamagetheengine
andbattery.
•DoNOTkeeptheignitionswitchatposition1or
position2foralongtimewhiletheenginestops,
whichmaydischargethebatteryduetotheuseof
electricaldevices.
•Thevehicleisttedwithengineimmobilisation
system.Anyself-madekeywithoutauthorisation
cannotstarttheengine.
•Y ourcariscontrolledbyelectroniccontrol
systems.Whenstartingtheengine,ifthereare
electromagneticwavearoundoranydevicesstuck
onyourcarcangenerateelectromagneticwave,
whichmaycausetheelectroniccontrolsystemsof
yourcaraccidentalactivated.

1Switchoffallunnecessaryelectricalequipment
(includingtheairconditioning);
2Applytheparkingbrake(referto"BrakeSystem"of
thischapter);
3MakesuretheshiftleverisinPorNposition.
Note:Whentheshiftleverisinanyother
positions,theenginecannotbestarted.
4Depressthebrakepedal;
5PresstheENGINESTART/STOPbutton,andrelease
thebuttonaftertheenginebeginstostart.
Note:Iftheenginecannotoperate(startoperation
willbestoppedafter15secondstoavoiddamagingthe
starter,evenifthestartbuttonisconstantlypressed.)

theignitionswitchreturntoONstatetostopengine
starting.Inordertorestarttheengine,pressthe
