HDCsystemisjustanauxiliaryfunctionfor
comfort.EvenwhenHDCsystemisinuse,
thedrivershallstillpaycloseattentionto
thedrivingstateofthevehicle,andtake
activecontrolwhennecessary.Becausein
certaincases,HDCmayremoveitselffrom
theoperatingstatetemporarily.
Undersomedrivingconditionsondownhill
surfaces(e.g.drivingdownaslopewithhigh
speed),HDCisinoperative,sothedriver
shallberequiredtocontrolthespeedby
depressingthebrakepedaltoensurethesafe
driving.
HDCsystemisanauxiliaryfunctionspeciallydesignedfor
drivingonacutedownhillsurface.HDCsystemreduces
thespeedbyapplyingthebrakeforce,thusassiststhe
drivertodriveonacutedownhillsurfacewithlowspeed.
Therefore,pleasedonotusethisfunctionwhendrivingon
theordinaryroad.
WhentheHDCisworking,thebrakesystemmaygenerate
strongvibrationornoise.Itisnormalduringtheoperation
ofHDC.
Note:Duringtheoperationofhilldescentcontrol
(HDC)system,pleasedonotswitchtheshiftleverto
"N"position.SuchoperationmaydeactivatetheHDC
function.
