Toavoidpersonalinjuriesduetothelossof
vehiclecontrol,DONOTadjusttheseats
whilethecarismoving.
Thecarisequippedwith6-wayor4-wayadjustablefront
seatsandindependentrearseats.
Anidealpositionoftheseatshouldmakesureyourdriving
positioniscomfortable,whichallowsyoutoholdthe
steeringwheelwithyourarmsandlegsslightlybentand
controlalltheequipment.T akecarewhenadjustingthe
heightofthefrontseat-thefeetoftherearpassenger
couldbecometrappedwhentheseatislowered.
DONOTinclinethefront-seatbackresttoofartothe
rear.Optimumbenetisobtainedfromtheseatbelt
withthebackrestanglesettoapproximately25°fromthe
upright(vertical).T omitigatethedangercausedbyairbag
activation,thedriverandfrontpassengerseatsshouldbe
positionedasfarrearwardaspractical.
HeadRestraints
Adjusttheheightoftheheadrestraintsothat
thetopofitisinlinewiththetopofthe
occupant'shead.Thislocationmayreduce
theriskofheadandneckinjuriesintheevent
ofacollision.DONOTadjustorremovethe
headrestraintswhilethecarismoving.
DONOThanganythingonanyheadrestraint
orheadrestraintrod.
Theheadrestraintisdesignedtopreventrearward
movementoftheheadintheeventofacollisionor
emergencybraking,therebyreducingtheriskofheadand
neckinjuries.
