StabilityControlSystem(SCS)
SCSisdesignedtoassistthedriverincontrolofdriving
direction.TheSCSautomaticallyentersStandbymode
aftertheengineisstarted.
WhenSCSdetectsthatthevehicleisnotmovinginthe
intendeddirection,itwillintervenebyapplyingbrakeforce
toselectedwheelsorthroughtheenginemanagement
systemtopreventslidingandassistinbringingthecarback
totherightdirection.
T ractionControlSystem(TCS)
TCSaimstomaintainthecontroltothevehicleby
improvingthevehicle'stractiontrafcabilityanddriving
stability.TCSmonitorsthedrivingspeedofeachwheel
individually.Ifspinisdetectedononewheel,thesystem
automaticallybrakesthatwheel,transferringtorquetothe
opposite,non-spinningwheel.Ifbothwheelsarespinning,
thesystemwillreduceenginespeedinordertoregulate
wheelrotationuntiltractionisregained.
SwitchingOn/Off
SCSandTCSareautomaticallyswitchedonwhenthe
ignitionswitchplacedinpositionON.Y oucanswitchthem
offaftertheengineisstarted.
•BrieypresstheSCSswitch(lessthan2seconds).
TCSisdisabled,andtheSCS/TCSOffindicatorwill
illuminate."T ractionControlSystemOff"andthe
SCS/TCSOfficonwillappearinthemessagecentre.
