Idlespeedwilldecreaseafterenginewarm-up.Donot
increaseenginespeedimmediatelyafterenginestart.
Progressivelyoperatetheengineandtransmissionsothat
oilcanwarm-upandlubricatealloperatingcomponents.
Ifthesmartkeyisnotinthecarorisdisturbed,the
driverinformationcenterwillremindthatthesmartkey
isnotfound.Ifthebatteryintheremotekeyneedsto
bereplaced,thedriverinformationcenterwillremindto
replaceremotekeybattery,andthecarcanstillrun.
Iftheenginecannotbestartedafter5-10seconds,
especiallyincoldweather(below-10℃),excessive
gasolinemayingressed.T rytofullydepresstheaccelerator
pedalandhold,andpressENGINEST ART/STOPbutton
for15secondsatmost.Eachstartintervalshallbe10
secondsatleasttoletthestartercooldown.Releasethe
buttonandtheacceleratorpedalafterenginestart.Ifthe
carisstartedforashorttimeandthenamedout,carry
outthesameoperation.Inthisway,extragasolinecanbe
clearedawayfromtheengine.
IMPORTANT
•Ifyoutrytostartconsecutivelyfor3timesand
itfails,pleaseseekassistancefromyourlocal
authorisedMGdealer .Whenattemptingtostartthe
carconsecutively,pleaseallow10minutesbetween
attemptstoallowbatteryrestorationandengine
cooling,failuretodothismayresultinbatteryor
enginedamage.
•DonotkeeptheignitionswitchinACCpositionor
ON/RUN/ST ARTpositionforalongtimewhilethe
enginestops,whichmaydischargethebatterydue
totheuseofelectricalequipment.
•Engineimmobilisationisavailableforthevehicle.
Anykeymadeprivatelycannotstarttheengine.
•Y ourcariscontrolledbyelectroniccontrol
systems.Ifthereareelectromagneticwavearound
oranydevicesstuckonyourcarcangenerate
electromagneticwaveWhenstartingtheengine,it
maycausetheelectroniccontrolsystemsofyour
carbeingaccidentalactivated.
