Itisofequalimportanceforpassengers
onthesecond-rowandthird-rowseatsto
fastentheirseatbeltscorrectly.Otherwise,
passengerswithseatbeltsnotcorrectly
fastenedwillbethrownforwardinaccidents,
andwillendangerthemselvesaswellasthe
driverandotherpassengers.
Whenthevehicleisinmotion,thetravellingspeedofthe
occupantsisidenticaltothatofthevehicle.
Intheeventofa‘headoncollision’oremergencybraking,
thevehiclemaystop,buttheoccupantswillcarryon
travellinguntiltheycomeintocontactwithastationary
object.Thisobjectmaybethesteeringwheel,dashboard,
windscreenandothers.
Acorrectlyfastenedseatbeltwilleliminatethisrisk
ofinjury.Whentheseatbeltisworncorrectly,itwill
lockautomaticallyincollisionaccidentsoremergency
brakingtoreduceyourspeedtogetherwiththevehicle,
soastopreventtheout-of-controlmovementwhichmay
causeseriousinjurytodriverandpassengers.Underthe
protectionofseatbelt,youwillhavelongerdistanceand
moretimetostopmoving,andthestrongestboneinyour
bodywillbeartheimpactforce.Thatiswhyitisimportant
tofastentheseatbeltcorrectly.
Whenminortrafcaccidentoccurs,tryingtoshoreup
yourbodywitharmsisverydangerous.Eventhelow
speedcollisionwillgenerateforcethatarmsandhandscan
notsupport,therefore,seatbeltsmustbeworncorrectly
duringdriving.
