pressure.
Alwaysdrivewithconsiderationfortheconditionofthe
tyres,andregularlyinspectthetreadandsidewallsforany
signofdistortion(bulges),cutsorwear.
Note:Avoidtyrecontactwithoils,greaseandfuel.
T yrePressures
Beforealongdistancejourney,thetyre
pressuremustbechecked.
Checkthepressuresatleasteverymonth,whenthetyres
arecold.
Ifitisnecessarytocheckthetyreswhentheyarewarm,
youshouldexpectthepressurestohaveincreasedby0.03
to0.04MPa.Inthiscircumstance,NEVERletairoutof
thetyresinordertomatchtherecommendedpressures
(cold).
Valves
Keepthevalvecapsscreweddownrmly-theypreventdirt
fromenteringthevalve.Checkthevalveforleaks(listen
foratell-talehissing)whenyoucheckthetyrepressure.
PuncturedT yres
Y ourvehicleisttedwithtyreswhichmaynotleakif
penetratedbyasharpobject,providedtheobjectremains
inthetyre.Ifyouareawareofthisoccurring,reducespeed
immediatelyanddrivewithcautionuntilthesparewheel
canbetted,orrepairsundertaken.
Note:Ifthewallofthetyreisdamagedordistorted,
replacethetyreimmediately,donotattemptarepair.
T yreWearIndicators
Thetyresttedasoriginalequipmenthave1.6mm-high
wearindicatorsattheirtreadpatternbottom,verticalwith
thewheelrollingdirectionandevenlydistributedaround
thecircumference.Themarkonthetyresidesuchas
capitallettersTWIortriangularsymbolshowsthelocation
ofwearindicator.
