Keepthepowersteeringuidreservoir
sealedandoutofthereachofchildren.If
accidentalcontactofpowersteeringuidby
childrenissuspected,seekmedicalassistance
immediately.
Preventthepowersteeringuidcominginto
contactwiththeskinoreyes.Ifthisoccurs,
rinseimmediatelywithplentyofwater.If
eyesarestillred,painfuloruncomfortable,
seekmedicalattentionimmediately.
Checktheuidlevelduringeachservice.Thisshouldbe
donebeforetheengineisstartedwhenthesystemiscold
andwiththefrontwheelspointingstraightahead.
Wipethellercapcleantopreventdirtfromentering
thereservoir.Removethellercapand,usingaclean
lint-freecloth,wipethedipstickclean.Retthecapfully
andremoveagaintochecktheuidlevel.Ifnecessary,
topupwithauidmeetingspecicationuntilthelevelis
betweentheupperandlowermarksonthedipstick(see
illustration).
Note:Powersteeringuidwilldamagepainted
surfaces.Ifyouaccidentallyspillthepowersteering
uidonthepaintedsurface,soakupanyspillagewith
anabsorbentclothimmediatelyandwashthearea
withwaterandcarshampoo.
