Note:T oleavetheparkinggear,theignitionswitch
mustbeinON/RUN/STARTstate,andthebrakepedal
mustbedepressed.
Ifyourcarisclosetostrongradiosignals,thenpush-button
startmaybeinoperative.Thisisbecausestrongradio
signalswilldisturbkeylessstartsystem.
StartingtheEngine
StartingtheEngine:
1Switchoffallunnecessaryelectricalequipment
(includingtheairconditioning);
2Applytheelectronicparkingbrake(referto"Brake
System"ofthischapter);
3MakesuretheshiftleverisinpositionPorN.
Note:Whentheshiftleverisinanyotherposition,
theenginecannotbestarted.
4Depressthebrakepedal;
5PresstheSTARTSTOPbuttonontheinstrument
panel,andimmediatelyreleasethebuttonafterthe
engineisstarted.
Ifthekeyisnotinthecarorisdisturbed,thedriver
messagecentrewillremindthatthesmartkeyisnotfound.
Ifthebatteryinthekeyneedstobereplaced,thedriver
messagecentrewillremindtoreplacethekeybattery,and
thecarcanstillrun.
