inasafeareaawayfromothertrafc.
Switchonhazardwarninglamps.Ifavailable,position
awarningtriangleabout50to150metresbehindyour
vehicletowarnapproachingtrafc.
Beforechangingawheel,ensurethefrontwheelsareinthe
straightaheadposition.Applytheparkingbrakeandplace
thegearshiftleveroftransmissioninPposition.
Observethefollowingprecautions:
•Ensurethejackispositionedonrm,levelground.
•Ifthevehiclemustbeparkedonthehill,placechocks
infrontofandbehindother3wheelstopreventthe
vehiclemoving.
PositioningtheJack
NEVERworkbeneaththecarwiththejack
astheonlymeansofsupport.Thejackis
designedforwheelchangingonly!
NEVERjackthecarusinganypositionsother
thanthejackingpoints.Seriousdamageto
thecarcouldresult.
Avoidaccidentalcontactwithanyunderbody
parts,especiallyhotexhaustsystem
components.
Positionthejackonrmlevelgroundunderthejacking
pointnearestthewheeltoberemoved.Makesurethat
theroundbumpofjackissupportingtheintegralframe
(inwardfromthepositionalongwiththetrianglemarkon
thebody).
