MalfunctionIndicatorLamp

IftheAWDsystemindicatorlampilluminatesredand
ashes,itindicatesthatthesystemisoverheated,andthe
messagecentredisplays"4WDSystemOverheat"withan
audiblealarm.Beforetheoverheatindicationdisappears,
pleasetrytoavoidintenseoperationofthevehicle(e.g.
pressingtheacceleratorpedaltotheend),otherwiseitwill
goagainstAWDsystemcooling.
WhentheAWDsystemindicatorlampisalwaysred,it
indicatesthatthesystemhasafailure,andthemessage
centredisplays"4WDFail"accompaniedwithanaudible
warning.PleasecontacttheMGAuthorisedRepairer
urgently.
WhentheAWDsystemhasamajorfailure,oris
overheatedduetocontinuousoperationforalongtime
underextremelyarduousorabnormalcondition,the
protectionfunctionmaybeactivatedtoexittheAWD
modeandswitchto2WDmode.Takecarenottoleave
