DrivingthecarwiththeoillevelABOVEthe
uppermark,orBELOWthelowermarkon
thedipstick,willdamagetheengine.T ake
caretoavoidspillingengineoilontoahot
engine–aremayresult!
Checktheoillevelweeklyandtopupwithoilwhen
necessary.Ideally,theoillevelshouldbecheckedwiththe
enginecoldandthecarrestingonlevelground.However,
iftheengineisrunningandalreadygettingwarm,waitfor
atleastveminutesafterswitchingofftheignitionswitch
beforecheckingthelevel.
1Withdrawthedipstickandwipethebladeclean.
2Slowlyinserttheoildipstickandpullitoutagainto
checktheoillevel;theoillevelshallnotbelowerthan
the'MIN'markontheoildipstick.
3Unscrewtheoilllercapandrelltheoiltomaintain
theoillevelbetweenthe'MAX'markand'MIN'mark
ontheoildipstick.
4Waitfor5minutesandthenrechecktheoillevel,
addingmoreoilifnecessary–DONOTOVERFILL!
5Finally,ensurethedipstickandllercaparereplaced.
