Whenthecarisinastrongradiosignalsinterferencearea,
orthesmartkeylowbatteryoccursorthekeylessstart
functionfails,pleasestartthecarbythealternativestarting
procedureaccordingtothefollowingsteps:
1Placethekeyinmarkedpositionatthefrontendof
centreconsolecupholderwiththebuttonupward
(asshowningure).
2Depressthebrakepedal,andpressSTARTSTOP
buttontostarttheengine.
Afterthebatteryisreplacedandthecarleavesthe
interferencearea,thekeylessstartingprocedurecanstill
notbeusednormally.SeektheAuthorisedRepairer.
IMPORTANT
Applicationscopeofalternativestartingprocedure:
•Theremotekeybatterydrainsandcannotbe
replacedintime.
•Whenthevehicleisdisturbedbystrongsignals,
usethealternativestartingproceduretodrivethe
vehicleawayfromthisarea,untilthekeylessstart
procedurerestoresnormalfunction.

1Afterbringingthecartoahalt,ALWA YSpressthe
brakepedal;
2Applytheelectronicparkingbrake(referto"Brake
System"ofthischapter);
