WiththeignitionswitchinACCposition,theAUTO
lightingsystemwillbedefaultedasON(1).TheAUTO
lightingsystemwillautomaticallyswitchthesidelamps,
taillampsandswitchbacklightsonoroffaccordingtothe
intensityofcurrentambientlight.
WiththeignitionswitchinONposition,theAUTOlighting
systemwillautomaticallyswitchthesidelamps,taillamps
andswitchbacklightsaswellasdippedbeamsonoroff
accordingtotheintensityofcurrentambientlight.
Note:Thisfunctionusesalightsensorthatmonitors
exteriorambientlightlevels.Thesensorforsome
modelsisttedinfrontoftheinstrumentpanelnear
thewindscreen.DONOTmaskorcoverthisarea.
Failuretoadheretothismayresultinheadlamps
operatingwhennotnecessary.

Rotatethemasterlightswitchtoposition2toswitchon
thesidelamps,taillampsandswitchbacklights.Withthe
ignitionswitchinOFFposition,ifthesidelampsstayon
