isparticularlyusefulformotorwaycruising,orforany
journeywhereaconstantspeedcanbemaintainedfora
lengthyperiod.
CruiseControlSystemActivation
Cruisecontrolsystemisoperatedwithaleverlocatedat
theleftsideofthesteeringwheelunderneaththelighting
leverswitch.
1WiththeignitionswitchinpositionON,ifthecruise
leverswitchisinthe'Stop'position(7),thenthe
cruisecontrolisOFF .Ifthecruiseleverswitchisin
the'Start'position(4),thenthesystemisinstandby
state.Switchthecruiseleverto"ON"position(4),
theyellowcruiseindicatorontheinstrumentlights
on,andthecruisecontrolsystemisinstandbystate.
2Withthesystemin'Standby',whenthecurrent
vehiclespeedisabove40km/h(theoperatingrange
ofthecruisecontrolsystemis40～200km/h),press
the'Set'button(6)attheendoftheleverswitch.
Theyellowindicator
intheinstrumentpackwill
changetogreenandthecruisecontrolwillenterthe
activatedstate.Thetargetspeedofthecruisesystem
willbesetatthecurrentspeed,andthecruisesystem
willtakeeffect.Atthistime,thecruisecontrol
