•Alwaysensuretheseatbeltwillnotbecometrapped
inthedooraperturewhenclosingthedoor,damage
willoccur.
•Pullingtheseatbeltouttooquicklymaycauseit
tolock.Inthiscase,allowtheseatbelttoretract
slightlyandthenpullitacrossyourbodyslowly.
•Ifitisdifculttopulltheseatbeltout,itmaybedue
totwistedwebbing.Ifthisisthecase,fullyextract
theseatbelt,removethetwist,allowtheseatbelt
toretractslowly.
•Afterusingtherearouterseatbelts,pleaseensure
thebeltisinstalledintheretainingclipintheside
trimpanel.Thiswillpreventthebeltbecoming
jammedwhenfoldingtherearseat.
•Eveniftheseatbeltisnotcompletelysmoothed,it
isstillrequiredtobewornduringdriving,butthe
twistedpartoftheseatbeltshallnotcontactthe
passenger.Whenthishappens,pleasegotoanMG
AuthorisedRepairerforrepair .
CorrectRoutingoftheSeatBelts
Ensuretheseatbeltiscorrectlypositionedon
thebody,nevercrosstheneckorabdomen,
neverpasstheseatbeltbehindthebackor
underthearms.
Whenwearingseatbelts,thelapbeltsectionshouldbe
positionedaslowaspossibleacrossyourhips,neveracross
theabdomen.Intheeventofacollision,thelapbeltcan
applyaforceonthehipsandreducethepossibilityofyou
