isoperatingandtheautoholdisactive.
Autoholdcannotguaranteetheelectronic
parkingbrakeoperationinallcaseswhen
theengineisstopped.Pleaseensurethe
electronicparkingbrakeisappliedandthe
vehicleisstablisedpriortoexitingthevehicle.
Theautoholdfunctionshouldbeswitchedoff
duringtheuseofautomaticcarwashes,the
electronicparkingbrakemaysuddenlyapply
andcausevehicledamage.
Ifthevehicleisrequiredtostopfrequentlyforalength
oftime(suchastrafclights,trafcqueuesorstop/start),
andtheengineisrunning,theautoholdsystemassistsin
stabilisingthevehicle,enablingyoutoremoveyourfoot
fromthebrakepedalwhenthevehicleisstationaryand
theAutoHoldactive.
Autoholdhasthreemainstates:
1Off:FunctioninOffstate.
2Standby:FunctioninStandbystate;thefunctionis
activatedbutitisnotparked.InStandbystate,the
vehiclewillautomaticallyparkoncetheconditionsfor
parkingareallmet.
3Parking:FunctioninParkedstate.Inthisstatethe
greenindicatorintheinstrumentpackilluminates.
Withthedriver'sseatbeltfastened,thedoorclosedand
theenginerunning,presstheautoholdswitchtoswitch
theautoholdfunctionfromOfftoStandbystate.
