General problems with the commercial dishwasher
Problem Cause and remedy
The dishwasher fails to re-
act when buttons are
pressed. The display and
indicator lights remain
dark.
The dishwasher has switched itself off after the set “switch
off after” period to save energy.
Press the button to switch the dishwasher back on.
The following fault mes-
sage appears in the dis-
play:
Salt container lid not properly
closed
The salt reservoir lid has not been closed properly.
Close the salt reservoir lid.
The cleaning agent dis-
penser lid cannot be
closed properly.
Residual cleaning agent is blocking the catch.
Remove the cleaning agent.
Water remains in the wash
cabinet at the end of a
programme.
Before rectifying the problem:
Switch the dishwasher off with the button.
The filter combination in the wash cabinet is clogged.
Clean the filter combination (see “Cleaning and care”).
The drain pump or non-return valve may be blocked.
Clean the drain pump or the non-return valve (see
“Maintenance”).
The drain hose kinked.
Remove any kink from the drain hose.
The on-site drain siphon is blocked.
Check and clean the drain siphon.
Peak load cut-out
This is not a fault!
Your energy management system deteceted a peak-load
in the energy supply. Some components in the
dishwasher stop operating for the duration of the peak-
load cut-out.
