Connecting the drain hose
- The dishwasher drainage system is fitted with a non-return valve,
which prevents dirty water from flowing back into the dishwasher
via the drain hose.
- The dishwasher should preferably be connected to a separate on-
site drainage system. If no separate connection is available, we
recommend connection to a double chamber siphon. The on-site
connection must be between 0.3m and 1m height, measured from
the lower edge of the dishwasher. If the connection is lower than
0.3m the drain hose must be placed in an arc at least 0.3m high.
- The dishwasher is equipped with a 1.5m flexible drain hose with an
internal diameter of 22mm. Hose clips are supplied with the
dishwasher.
- The drain hose must not be shortened. The hose can be extended
using a connection piece to attach a further length of hose. The
drainage length must not be longer than 4m.
- The drainage system must be able to accommodate a minimum
drainage flow of 16 l/min.
Make sure that there are no kinks in the hose, and that it is not
squashed or stretched.
See installation diagram supplied.
