  If your Millipore Sigma Water Pump isn't starting, there are a few things to check: * Make sure the pump is properly connected to the communication hub, and that the communication hub is connected to a power source. * Verify that the communication hub is switched on. The on/off switch is located on the front of the hub (position l ). * If the communication hub is on but the light on the on/off switch is off, and the hub is connected to a power source, inspect the communication hub fuses.

  If the liquid isn't flowing correctly from the drain tray of your Millipore Sigma Water Pump, consider the following: 1. Check the drain tubing to ensure it is not pinched. 2. Make sure the drain tubing isn't touching the liquid in the waste container and that the waste container is open or correctly vented. 3. Inspect the drain tray for clogs. Clean the drain tray container and support, and verify that the yellow plugs are not on the canister outlets. 4. Ensure the drain tray is positioned higher than the waste container. 5. Confirm that the tubing between the drain tray and the waste container is straight, without bends or loops.

Why is liquid not evenly distributed between the canisters in my Millipore Sigma Water Pump?

  Uneven liquid distribution between the canisters in your Millipore Sigma Water Pump can occur for a couple of reasons. One possibility is that the tubing to one of the canisters is pinched, clamped, or damaged. Open the pump head and check the tubing. Reinstall the tubing following the procedure described in Installing the Steritest® Device. Another reason could be that the filtration speed is too high, try reducing the filtration speed.

  Random waste overfill sensor alerts (red icon, beep, orange LED) on your Millipore Sigma Water Pump can be triggered if the evacuated liquid is flowing inside the rigid container in front of the sensor position. To resolve this, move the evacuation tubing away from the sensor position.
