4.3 Target cell fraction and waste container
To collect target cells deep well plates or 5mL tubes can be used. The default target cell container in the pre-
defined processes is a deep well plate with a height of 44.0mm. Table 4.2 shows the number of deep well
plates required for each pre-defined process.
If you want to use deep well plates with other heights or 5mL tubes, create a custom process or edit a process
and save it separately (refer to Creating a process on page65). For the collection of labeled cells in 5mL
tubes use MACS Elution Chamber lid II and the MultiMACS 5mL Tube Rack.

For waste collection use deep well plates. The default setting for the deep well plate height is 44.0mm. To use
