Use deep well plates that comply to ANSI/SBS standards (length 127.76 mm ± 0.5 mm, width 85.48 mm ±
0.5mm). As height of the deep well plates a value of 44.0 mm is set by default. The height value can be
changed manually.
2.2 Assembly for benchtop use
Leave a space of at least 20 cm distance above the MultiMACS Cell24 Separator Plus to ensure that the
instrument is able to tilt backwards, thus minimizing damage. If an object has been accidentally placed
under the down-moving MultiMACS Cell24 Magnet, the physical resistance of the object causes the
instrument to tilt backwards similar to a hydraulic jack.
1 Unpack all components.
2 Place the MultiMACS Cell24 Separator on a clean, stable, and flat laboratory bench. For sterile conditions
place the instrument in a laminar flow cabinet.
3 Lift the front side of the instrument and attach the Tip-Touch Plate.
