Remaining ink is 0 in the cartridge (ink
end/ only when the 4-color ink set is
used).
Replace with new ink.
The nozzle check has been suspended
due to some problem.
Turn the main power OFF, wait a while, and
turn it ON again.
If the same error message appears, contact
our service desk or your local distributor to
call for service.
The NCU unit is not connected.
The NCU sensor sensitivity is too low to
correctly judge nozzle missing.
The nozzle check function cannot be
used.
The NCU cannot correctly recognize the
ink discharge, because there are fre-
quent nozzle missing and ink droplet
misalignment.
Check the state of the nozzles, and if there
are frequent nozzle missing and ink droplet
misalignment, conduct cleaning to restore.
Adjustment of the discharge position to
the NCU has failed.
Sensor sensitivity adjustment has failed.
