Operation restrictions when an alarm occurs
When an error occurs, the operation is restricted according to the alarm level. This section describes the
operation according to the printer status and error level.
Idling status
If an error occurs in the idling state, the operation is restricted according to the error level.
Level Operation restriction Description
0 All operations are possible. Check the information and perform each operation.
1 Cannot start printing.
An error that cannot start printing has occurred.
Remove the cause of the error and start printing after
2, 3
Cannot start printing.
Other operations cannot be performed.

Printing cannot be started or a critical error has occurred.

Printing status
If an error occurs during printing, the printing operation is paused or stopped according to the error level.

0 Printing continues. If action is required, pause or cancel.
1 Printing is paused.
An error such as an ink end that requires action to
continue printing has occurred.
Remove the cause of the error, clear the alarm and restart
printing.
∗ Printing resumes from where it left off.
2, 3 The print is canceled.
An error such as a jam that cannot continue printing has
occurred.
Remove the cause of the error, clear the alarm, select the
job again, and start printing.
∗ Printing starts from the beginning of the selected job
When an error occurs, check the error code contents in the error list and perform the
specified action.
