Safety information
Warning
The system cannot serve as a substitute
for the driver’s personal judgment in as-
sessing the traffic situation. Based on the
limits of the system, it cannot independ-
ently react to all traffic situations. There
is a risk of accident, injury, or property
damage. Adjust driving style to traffic con-
ditions. Watch the surrounding traffic sit-
uation closely, be ready to take over steer-
ing and braking at any time, and actively
intervene where appropriate.

Parking methods
Park Assist supports the following func-
tions:
When parallel parking: Parking in reverse,
parallel to the road.
When perpendicular parking: Parking for-
ward or in reverse, perpendicular to the
road.
When driving out of parallel parking spaces.
When driving out of perpendicular parking
spaces.
Sensors
The Automatic Parking Assistant is control-
led by the following sensors:
– Ultrasonic sensors in the front/rear
bumpers.
– Ultrasonic sensors at the sides.
