Manual longitudinal setting
Fold the seat backrest forward
To fold down the backrest and manually
adjust the longitudinal setting, proceed as
follows:
1. Pull lever to the stop.
2. Fold the backrest forward.
3. Push the seat forward.
Push the seat backrest rearward
1. Push the seat back into its initial posi-
tion.
2. Fold back the backrest to lock the seat.
Electric longitudinal setting
Fold the seat backrest forward
To fold down the backrest and use the elec-
tric adjuster for the longitudinal setting,
proceed as follows:
1. Pull lever to the stop.
2. Fold the backrest forward.
To make the entry to the rear easier, the
seat will automatically move to the most
forward position.
The process will be terminated when the
switch for the forward/back direction ad-
justment is pressed or the backrest is re-
clined.
Push the seat backrest rearward
Fold back the backrest and lock it.
The seat moves automatically to the last
seat position that was stored.
Calibrating the front seats
Principle
A Check Control message is displayed on
the Interaction Unit when the electric seat
adjuster is not working properly.
To restore the accuracy of the electric seat
setting, the front seats must be calibrated.
Safety information
Warning
There is a danger of jamming when mov-
ing the seats. There is a risk of injury or
risk of damage to property. Make sure that
the travel path of the seat is clear prior to
any adjustment.
Calibrating the front seat
1. To calibrate the front seat, press the lon-
gitudinal direction switch on the seat
forward for approx. 2 seconds until the
seat stops.
2. Repeat step 1 until the seat stops then
moves slightly forward.
