The copy is blurry. The paper is damp. Replace the paper,
seepage5-4.
The copy has lines The Corona Units are dirty. Using the Corona Unit Cleaning
Levers, clean the Corona Units,
seepage8-4.
The copy has dark
specks or spots.
The Original Glass is dirty. Wipe the Original Glass clean
with a soft dry cloth,
seepage8-3.
The Original Pad or Document
Feed Belt is dirty.
Wipe the Original Pad clean with
a soft cloth dampened with mild
home detergent, see page 8-2
The original is very thin or highly
transparent.
Place a blank sheet of paper
over the original, see page 3-4.
The original is two-sided. The information on thebackside
of a two-sided, thin original may
be slightly reproduced on the
copy. Set the copier into the
Manual Exposure Mode and,
using the Exposure Control Key
(Lighter), make the exposure
level lighter, see page 3-10.
Theedgeofthecopy
is dirty.
The Original Pad is dirty. Wipe the Original Pad clean with
a soft cloth dampened with mild
home detergent, see page 8-2.
A paper size larger than the
original is loaded in the Drawer.
