1. Slide out the IU.
2. Loosen one screw and remove the stopper.
3. Remove and replace the PC Drum.
NOTE
When the PC Drum has been replaced, reset the count of
“PC Drum” of “Port/Option” counters of the Tech. Rep.
mode and then make the “adjustment of exposure level in
the Auto Exposure mode.” (For the “adjustment of expo-
sure level in the Auto Exposure mode,” see p. D-72.)
Using a brush, whisk dust off the Developer Scattering Pre-
vention Plate.
Using a brush or a soft cloth dampened with alcohol, clean the
Ds Positioning Collars.
Using a brush or a vacuum cleaner, clean the Toner Antispill
Trap.
Using a brush, whisk paper dust and toner off the Cleaning
Blade.
