Front Panel Menu Operation
5.3.1 Selecting Manual Control Enable from the Menu
The display shows the message “Manual control enabled” while in normal mode, and the
panel is in a trouble condition. To check which annunciator manual control was enabled on,
press the button. To disable manual control, follow the same steps outlined above.
5.3.2 Selecting manual control enable using a key switch
• You can set up FleX-Net™ FX-4000 to require the activation of a key switch instead of a
passcode to enable manual control. Once the key switch is operated, the display shows
the message “Manual control enabled” while in normal mode, and the panel is in a
trouble condition. To check which annunciator manual control was enabled on, press
the button. To disable manual control, reset the key switch.

Use this option if you want to manually activate or deactivate outputs. To deactivate the output
use the same procedure as activating the output, except select “Normal” in Step 5, or press
the System Reset button.
Step 1: Select Manual Enable
1. Use and to scroll the cursor to “Man
Ctrl Enable”.
2. Press to continue.
Step 2: Enter your passcode
Enter your passcode. See page 16 for instructions on
entering passcodes.
Step 3: Enable manual control
The system asks whether or not you want to enable
manual control.
1. Use and to select “yes” or “no”.
2. Press to continue.
