1. Introduction
1.1 Outline
This manual provides information on the specifications of the FX3U-ENET-ADP Ethernet communication
special adapter (hereinafter called FX
3U-ENET-ADP or the Ethernet adapter), as well as the procedures
before starting operation, the control procedures and data communication method for communicating with
external devices, and troubleshooting.
When the program examples introduced in this manual are applied to an actual system, examine the safety of
the control in the target system before use.
1.1.1 Overview of the Ethernet adapter
The FX3U-ENET-ADP is an Ethernet adaptor of 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX for FX3U/FX3UC PLCs (Ver. 3.10 or
later), and can be connected to a high-order system such as personal computer using the TCP/IP or UDP
communication protocol.
