FX-30P is applicable to FX
3G, FX3U and FX3UC PLCs starting with the following version:
a) FX
3G PLCs
b) FX
3U PLCs
c) FX
3UC PLCs
2. In the case of programming tool (version) not applicable to FX3G, FX3U and FX3UC PLCs
(using an alternative model)
Even using a programming tool not applicable to the FX3G, FX3U and FX3UC PLCs, programming is enabled
when an alternative model is set.
In this case, however, programming is enabled only in the function ranges such as instructions, device ranges
and program sizes available in a PLC selected as the alternative model. Use a programming tool which can
select the model (FX3G, FX3U(C) or FX3UC) to change parameters such as memory capacity and file
register capacity.
Use a programming tool which can select "FX3G" to perform communication using the standard USB port
built in FX
3G PLCs..
*1. For Ver. 8.13P to 8.24A of GX Developer, the PLC type is FX3UC.

2N" is selected when the FX-10P(-E) is used.
3. Program transfer speed and programming tool
When any of the following interfaces are used for GX Developer (Ver.8.13P or later), reading and writing of
programs and monitoring of devices can be executed at high speed (115.2 kbps) in the FX
3U and FX3UC
PLCs.
FX-30P can be executed at high speed (115.2kbps) in FX
3U, FX3UC PLCs.
