In
the case
of
pressure
type
radiator,
don't
screw off its cap just after the engine
stopped, lest you should get burnt
by outblow
of
high-temperature steam.
3) Fuel
Check fuel level.
If
fuel tank
is
equipped with fuel feed cock, make sure that it
is
open.
At
starting
after long leaving idle, or when air seems
to
be
in
fuel system, practise bleeding (or
priming).

Power source
Make sure
that
battery switch and battery terminals are on.
Now check
as
follows and proceed
to
starting,
1)
That the engine
is
clutched off or free from load.
2)
That
stop lever
is
not
in
"stop"
position.
3)
That
venturi lever
is
in
"full-open" position (for pneumatic governor
use)
