왘 Enter eight alarm texts for alarms 1 to 8.
왘 Set the “Update cycle” of the alarms to 500 ms
왘 Enter MB 3 under “Block start”.
Make sure that “Enable log to event list” is selected.
You thereby ensure that alarm texts are also entered
in the event list.
왘 Confirm the dialog box by clicking on OK.
This results in markers M 3.0 to M 3.7 being
assigned the alarm texts of alarms 1 to 8.

Key assignments are edited with the keyboard Macro

Starting the keyboard macro editor
The dialog box of the keyboard macro editor
appears. Here you can assign a macro function to
keys 7 and 8.
Keys with a macro assignment trigger various
functions in the MI4. Keys 7 and 8 are given
double assignments in the following example. In
entry mode they function as numeric keys. If,
however, the MI4 is not in input mode, they will
execute the functions defined by the macro in
question.
Input mode is selected on the MI4 by pressing the
“Ins” key.
