INTERIOR LIGHTS
Fresh Food Lights
The upper fresh food lights are located behind
a
light shield cover at the rear of the liner.
To access the fresh food lights, remove the
light shield. To remove the light shield,
grasp the shield at the rear, lift up and pull
forward
and down at the same time. The rear
of the light shield must disengage two tabs
that hold the light shield in place. The
front of the shield is positioned on the rear
rim of the control console. To replace the
light shield, position it on the rim of the
console, then
lift up in the rear and engage
the tabs.
Storage
Bin Lights
Lights located in the lower section of the
fresh
food compartment provide illumination
for the
food storage bins. For access to
these
lights, remove the upper bin cover, and
upper bin. The light sockets, one on each
side are contained in a bracket assembly. A
wiring cover attached to the
liner wall under
the brackets conceals the wiring for the
light
sockets.
Freezer Light
The freezer light is located in the freezer
compartment above the light shield on
non-dispenser models and below the ice service
shelf on dispenser models. To access the
freezer
light, remove the light shield by
grasping in the front and pulling down
non-dispenser models or compressing the sides
and pulling out on dispenser models. To
replace the light shield, position it on the
rear tabs on non-dispenser models, or in the
side
slots on dispenser models and then push
up at the front to engage the two openings or
back to engage the side slots.
NOTE: Bow the light shield slightly at the
front
to assist in positioning it in the
openings.
Light Switches
Rocker type light switches are located in the upper
trim
above the doors at the top of the cabinet. To
remove any of the switches, open the respective door
and depress the tab on the side of the switch, then
pull the switch
down and out of the trim. Disconnect
the leads.
The dispenser interlock switch is in the
trim
frame next to the freezer light switch.
The switches can also be accessed by removing the
upper panel
and upper grille.
