DIAGNOSIS
Electrical
SYstem
Wiring
harness connectors, located in the
unit compartment, provide a
means
for
testing
electrical
components
of the
refrigerator.
An
ohmmeter
can
be
used
to
test
between
the terminals in
each
connector,
after
removing
the top panel,
disconnecting the
power
cord,
and
separating the harness connectors.
Resistance readings of individual
components
should
be
performed with the
component
isolated to avoid parallel
circuits.
Refer to the wiring
diagram
for
circuitry.
To
perform a
direct
start
test
of the
compressor, follow the standard Direct
Start
Test procedure using the terminal
adapter
and
test
harness.
Refrigeration
System
To
access the
refrigeration
system, a
service valve
must
be
attached to the
low
pressure process tube extending
from
the
compressor case.
For
diagnosis of the
refrigeration
system,
use
the Standard
Compressor
Capacity Test or the
leak-Restriction
test,
as
required.
