edited,
assembled and
linked

disk-based
development system and
then
loaded
into
Target
memory
and
inunediately
tested.
Loading a
Target
program
at
initialization
is
optional
since
it
may
be
desired
to
debug a
short
program which
is
entered
using
the
M carunand.
When
poweri03
up
the
System,
the
diskettes
should
NOT
be
installed.
The
developnent
system should be powered
up
first,
then
the
Target
system.
After
all
power
is
on
the
systan
is
booted
up
as
normal.
When
powering
down
the
reverse
sequence should be
taken.
3.3
INITIALIZATION
After
the
system
is
powered
up
and
FLP-80DOS
is
operati03
AIMZ80.BIN
may
be
loaded and executed using
the
implied run
coounand.
An
optional
File
name
may
also
be
entered
to
automatically
load
the
Target
program.
The
format
for
initializing
AIMZ80
follows.

The
AIMZ80
program
will
be
loaded and executed and
the
sign
on message and
prompt
character
will
be
printed.
If
the
file
AIMZ80.MAP
exists
then
it
also
will
be
loaded
to
specify
the
system
configuration
and
if
a
Target
program
is
specified
it
will
be loaded
into
Target
Inemory
space.
3.4
ERRORS
If
an
error
is
encountered
during
initialization,
an
error
message
will
be
printed
notiI'B
the
error,
and
the
corrunand
mode
will
be
entered
as
normal.
Error
messages
may
also
be
printed
during
operation
if
the
system
fails
to
function
as
expected,
or
if
the
operator
attanpts
an
operation
which
is
not
allowed
or
does
not
make
sense.
Table 1 summarizes
the
possible
error
messages and
explains
the
probable
cause.
