Receiving New Messages
When you receive a new message, your radio displays the New Message icon, an animation, and
plays a tone to indicate the new message.
Procedure:
Select one of the following options:
If… Then…
If you want to read the whole message, select Read.
If you want to dismiss the message, select Back.
If you dismiss the message, you can access the message later from the inbox.

Opening the Inbox
Procedure:
Select Messages → Inbox.
The radio displays the status of the inbox for a few seconds (if any):
• No New or Old Messages
• Inbox Full

Using Submenus in Inbox and Outbox
Procedure:
1 Select Messages → Inbox or Outbox.
2 If you want to use submenus, perform one of the following actions:
If… Then…
If you want to delete the message, perform the following actions:
a Select Delete.
b To confirm, select Yes.
If you want to delete all the messages in
the inbox or outbox,
perform the following actions:
a Select Delete All.
b To confirm, select Yes.
If you want to invoke the reply screen
and reply with a predefined template,
select Reply.
NOTICE: This option is only appli-
cable for the inbox.
If you want to invoke the reply screen
and reply with a predefined template,
select Resend.
NOTICE: This option is only appli-
cable for the outbox.
