Picklist Mode
Picklist mode enables the decoder to decode only bar codes that are aligned within the center of the digital scanner
laser aiming pattern. Select one of the following picklist modes for the decoder:
Disabled Always - Picklist mode is always disabled.
Enabled Always- Picklist mode is always enabled.
Decoding Illumination
Selecting Enable Decoding Illumination causes the digital scanner to flash illumination to aid decoding. Select
Disable Decoding Illumination to prevent the digital scanner from using decoding illumination.
Enabling illumination usually results in superior images. The effectiveness of the illumination decreases as the
distance to the target increases.
NOTE If you enabled DPM Scanning on page 5-11, disable Picklist Mode when scanning a DPM bar code.
Picklist performance is not guaranteed for DPM bar codes.
