ATTENTION
For communication redundancy in the VLAN environment, set Redundant Port Coupling Port
and Coupling Control Port as Trunk Port since these ports act as the backbone to transmit all
packets of different VLANs to different PT-7728 units.
Port PVID

This field will be active only when selecting the Trunk

connect to the Trunk port. Use commas to separate

For certain Power Substation scenarios, some applications may require priority-tagged frames to
be received by IEDs. To fulfill these requirements Moxa PT-7728 Series Ethernet switches allow
VLAN Unaware Mode operation.
