9 Fault elimination
This chapter describes how to eliminate operating faults.
9.1 Messages regarding the safety switching contact
Depending on the fault cause, the safety switching contact (fail-safe relay
FSR) reacts with a delay time of approx. 7…60seconds.
State Contact 25-26 Contact 26-27
Idle state Closed Open
Fault Open Closed
The following faults are recorded via the safety switching contact FSR:

9.2 Display faults
Characteristics/details Cause Remedy
Display no longer shows
events
Display fault Check wiring. If OK: Inter-
rupt supply voltage for
5seconds. This activates
a restart.
Display without function Safety fuse defective Follow the instructions in
the "Replacing a
fuse" [Section 9.3, Page
65] section
9.3 Replacing a fuse
The device is fused with a safety fuse.
This can be replaced by a replacement fuse (500mA, 500V, 5x20mm, de-
layed-action) if needed.
