Rubber auger spiral replacement
To replace the rubber auger spirals:
1. Turn the engine off.
2. Remove one of the spirals by removing the six
screws that hold it to the auger assembly using a 3/
8” wrench.
See Figure 3.13.
3. Slide the spiral out of the auger assembly.
4. Slide a new spiral into the auger assembly.
5. Install the screws.
NOTE: Tighten the screws until they start to com-
press the rubber.
NOTE: Over torquing the screws can cause the bolt
head to pull through the rubber.
6. Repeat the previous step on the other spiral.
7. Test run the snow thrower in a safe area before
returning it to service.
