Upper discharge chute (remote controlled)
To remove/replace the upper discharge chute:
1. Remove the wing nut and carriage bolt that holds
the left side of the upper chute to the lower chute.
2. Remove the nut (indicated by the arrow in Figure
4.3.) and the carriage bolt that holds the right side of
the upper chute to the lower chute using a 1/2”
wrench.
3. Remove the screw (indicated by the arrow in Figure
4.4.) that anchors the cable guide to the lower dis-
charge chute using a 3/8” wrench.
4. Slide the upper discharge chute off of the snow
thrower.
5. Slide the cable guide out from in between the cable
bracket and the discharge chute.
See Figure 4.5.
6. Disconnect the cables from the cable guide.
