SCXI-1163 Module
This module is a 32-channel optically isolated digital output module with
TTL and CMOS compatibility, 450 V
rms
isolation and 1,900 V
rms
breakdown, and high-speed parallel data transmission from digital DAQ
devices. The module hasfive user-configurable jumpers for configuring the
operating mode and the type of DAQ device connected to your module.
Leave all other jumpers in the factory-default positions.
The SCXI-1163 module is shipped configured for use with a DIO device in
serial mode.
PullupUse this setting for a single-chassis system or
for the first chassis in a multichassis system. Connects a
pullup resistor to the SERDATOUT line (factory-default
position).
No PullupUse this setting for additional chassis in a
multichassis system. No pullup resistor is connected to
the SERDATOUT line.
DIOUse this setting to configure SERDATOUT for
DIO devices (factory-default position).
MIOUse this setting to configure SERDATOUT for
MIO device. Includes AI or MIO device or Lab/1200
device.
PARUse this setting to disconnect SERDATOUT line.
Use for parallel mode.
